A young man only identified, as Collins has died mysteriously in what is believed to be the results of his inability to follow rules and regulations given to him after he sought for spiritual help to make money, commonly known as ‘Sakawa’.
Information gathered by YEN.com.gh suggests that Collins, 24, had been warned against coming into contact with water but after a day out with his friends in which he got drunk, he forgot the rules.
According to a report on Adom FM, people who know the deceased confirm that he was part of a group of friends who consulted a ritualist to help them get rich and also promote their music career and were given strict rules and regulations to follow.
He however failed to abide by the rules and regulations, key of which was for them not to bath for some time, and jumped into a swimming pool when he and his four friends went to the Awutu Forest Grove Hostel to drink, dying instantly.
The Awutu Breku District Police Commander, ASP Johnson Hessay who reportedly confirmed the incident says police are still investigating the matter.
Collins’ body has since been deposited at the Winneba Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
