Tamale is fast becoming the haven of entertainment with a dash of culture in the savanna regions of Ghana.

But for a Ghanaian artiste especially those in the northern part of Ghana to sit down, analyze the preference of the people in the southern part of the country, predict the content that would make an instant hit, make classic music, release and promote it to the limit, is one of the difficult challenges facing artistes in the northern region. But trust me, Maccsio is doing marvelously well in the north and Ghana as a whole.

Yes, we understand the likes of kurl Songz, Kidi, Kuami Eugene and many others are doing marvelously well but comparing them to Maccasio, he will surely come out as the top most artist of the year. He actually has Ghana on his shoulders.

A lot of entertainment pundits have tipped Kurl Songs but Personally,I enjoy those tunes and I know most Ghanaians also do,but sincerely two songs isn’t enough to Kurl Songs the glory.Kurl Songs did a great job in the year of review and it is no wonder his name is circulating around as a potential winner of the accolade but in my view, his works are not enough to win him the crown, thus, Maccsio deserves the new artiste of the year.
